Eve of Adventure
I am finding myself on the dusk of my business trip and the eve of adventure. My job allows me the latitude and responsibility to try to plan for every twist, turn or trouble that may arise. This is a great benefit for my personality type, but can be a bit alarming for the adventure side of my life. As I prepare to launch into central India, I'll be solo, with no contacts owing me any support to a place I've never been. 50% of me is rational enough to be alarmed. That side has considered all potential scenarios for concern ranging from realistic to outlandish. The gift in all this is the balance of my adventure spirit that screams, "Jump off the bridge, go for it, don't be skeerd!" I am fairly certain that the mystery, anxiety and complete unknown are what drive the value of adventuring. If it was all safe and rational, I guess it would just be a normal vacation.
