La Paz Waterfall Gardens

I'm on the road again and somewhere I just adore to the depth of my bones.  The people, the food, the climate, the outdoor glory...I could actually go on, but I'll just tell you about today.  We got off work and our colleague said, "would you like to go to the jungle?"  The answer to this question is always yes. Always. Never mind my fitness freak work partner who actually debated on going or checking out the local Crossfit gym.  Sigh... He decided to join and his mind was pretty much blown.  The rain forest is an epic and surreal environment.  Sure we live in the wild and woolly hills of the Ozarks, but things can eat you, poison you, shock you, bring you to your knees for the sheer beauty of it all.  It's a different kind of stunning.  So we shucked collared shirts and practical pants for water shorts and shoes that are grippy and headed into the mountains, through villages and to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens.  This preserve has exhibits ...
