December Underground - Ascents and Descents

12/10/2016 I was fortunate to spend a cool and rainy weather window underground.  Through Washington County Search and Rescue and the Cave Research Foundation, we were able to support a biological survey and cave monitoring study and get some practice in our vertical skills.  It is definitely a little different to do it in the confines of a hole in the ground rather than in open air over a cliff! Hope you enjoy the photos and maybe get a little curious about adventures that may be outside your comfort zone.  There is a whole wild world out there!
