Shaddox Hollow - Mushrooms and Other Finds
26 August 2017 After a whirlwind of 4 cities in 7 days, there was a lot of napping today. Seeing the sun passing through the leaves, the light breeze blowing them about, I decided fresh air was the best plan to rejuvenate. With the apparent rain, I was in for a big treat. There were mushrooms all over my favorite local trail. The best part is seeing how they have burst through gravel, forest floor debris, and even rotted logs to find the light and grow. As usual, I can't encourage you enough, get outside, get exploring and find your adventure. Ants eating mushrooms! This is a mushroom bursting through packed gravel. Look closely. Live friends! My favorite group of the day. My very aware copilot. I'm so thankful for Moose and her silliness when I'm so serious. I couldn't ask for a more amazing companion.
